I'm looking to find out if anyone owns a car with a MOON/SUN Roof. If you do, does it have an air ram shield on the roof (Maybe not the right name) that deflects the air from scooping in the car (Doing around 60) when the roof is open. I've seen these deflectors on a few passing cars, but don't know anyone that has one.
I really don't like the way those shields look on the car. But if those shields really do work, & it stops the rushing air sound from scooping in the car, then I will have one installed.
Need a little help/info on Moon/Sun roofs please

One of my cars is a Toyota Camry XLE. The sun roof has a wind deflector that lies slightly below the level of the roof and cannot be seen unless you are above that level and looking down. I have driven a 100 mph and no wind comes into the car.

Stop at your car dealership and ask about them, I have had sun roofs, but not like what you are mentioning

Thanks for your replies.
The only kind of shields I've seen protrude up & over the front side of the roof opening. (I don't like the way they look, they must be "add-on" type like I'm referring to)
I was going to talk to the dealer, but felt that first hand info from someone who actually had one would be more reliable. (Dealers sometimes lie, & or exaggerate just to make a sale)

I dont have the shield but Ive toyed with the idea of getting one. I kind of like the look. In principle it should work. Up and over.
They have cheap ones that attach magnetically but that sounds cheesy. Id stay away from that.
The only reason I havent is because I want air flow coming from the roof when its open.
Right ? Thats the point isnt it ? I mean its not like its causing disruption or anything.

Thanks for reply Nommie, just noticed today. The "disruption" is the god awful loud wooshing noise, so loud it's hard to even heard the radio. I'm looking into getting one from local custom parts shop.
