So nice

Hi, I joined a while ago and have only just started to post over the past few days. One of the things I have noticed is that you are all soooooooo nice to eachother. I find this pretty unusual on a forum. I think it is good, dont get me wrong, just that I am so used to always having to fight and argue and heavily debate issues rather then accepting them or just contributing nicely to them.

I am not faulting anyone or anything, I am just really confused is all. I hope I can handle sticking it out on here without any contention raising its head ever.

Sorta nice to be here.

Yes Lady G, people are very caring and considerate here - don't get me wrong the garden does have its moments of contention - but never to the extent that you may see on other forums.

Hi. We do have a lot of moments of contention, it's only fair to say that. And we have heated debates and lots of wrong assumptions. Not all the time but it certainly does happen and if you stick with us long enough, you'll find it's true. It can't be helped much when we have so many different personalities and ways of thinking.

Hi Lady G! You joined before I did. I feel alittle funny welcoming you.

I have only been around about three months. So far I LOVE it. Your right,there are many nice people in the Garden. Although at times,there has been disagreements between members. Most everyone here is civil. I haven't belonged to many forums in the past,and I feel lucky to have found this place.:-4

we worked darn hard to have this kind of forum :wah:

oh we do have a great forum, we have learned the value of respect and generally are able to debate with out muck flinging as well, this group is pretty good at some self moderation skills.

What makes FG unique is we always give people a chance and it's then up to them to fit in or not.

And Red Glitter pretty much summed up the rest.

I am an Admin/Moderator on an Intl forum, it is totally different to here. The main Admin person and I are at logger heads the whole time and he is very vile and foul with his mouth. I am getting real bored on there and feel I need somewhere that is normal.

For real, I was saying recently to a friend of mine that making the effort for something positive is harder then if it is for something negative, which tends to come easier for us all.

Fg has had their share of ups and downs, I think we have come almost full circle to what it started out to be... back in the day and we have always prefered the kinder gentler approach
