Thank you Kinks for clarifying.....................

Jimbo, I have noticed a few times in threads where you claim to be the FG punch bag. I guess I will have to see this for myself unless youcan direct me to threads that show that is the case.

El Guapo, You also seem to grumble about FG being like this too. Again I have yet to experience it.

I am sure that should I experience any type of bullying, stalking, iritations etc, I can stand up for myself and fight my corner, as long as there are no "cliques" that oust ppl who do not comply.

We will see.

Hi everybody ! (including Jimbo, el guapo, YZGI et al)

Lady G, I think you'll find that people just come on here to chat about anything and everything. But please understand that there is a fair bit of banter, no doubt you've noticed already ! Nobody is serious about this banter, it's just all good clean fun - insults, rudeness, cheek and the occasional compliment are the order of the day, and so long as you have a large bag of salt beside your PC, and you join in with a good heart, you should be fine particularly if you have a sense of humour and don't mind stuff thrown in your direction. Nothing is personal, and consequently once you've got to know some of the main protagonists and can give back as good as you get, you'll enjoy it ! Another thread which you may enjoy is Jimbo's thread - ' spoof fg photos ' the posts come thick and fast on there, about 100 per day ! It is the ideal thread to get you laughing if you should feel a bit down. I think Jimbo had a brilliant idea when he started that thread !

You can usually tell the mood or the 'non serious' intention of a post by the various 'smileys' that are included !

Any way Lady G, welcome to the mad house, please feel free to post on here at any time, we're a very friendly bunch and contrary to popular belief this thread is not just for the ladies - everybody is welcome (even Jimbo :wah: )

See you again Lady G !! :D

Welllllll......Gillybaby put it on for me and to be honest babe...........I aint got a bleedin clue what its all about so just be yerself and put on what you want. So you come from good old Hackney. Blimey small world. I was the first Lady Cab driver in that area a million years ago it seems lol. I was down Columbia Road earlier in the year............gawd thats changed. Also when we went round Hoxton the parking was a joke.....about 6 quid an hour. We also had an Indian meal down Brick Lane.......its not the same slum that used to be either and every 20 minutes we had to feed the poxy meter. Fings have changed so much since I lived in The East End.......mind you I am very old so that aint surprising:wah: anyway welcome and take no notice of Winkle (Jimbo Baby) as his jealous of our niceness, good manners and intelligance..........er....ave I spelt that right:-3.Hope to see you here soon.:-6

hi gill,

just hoping today will cheer my friend sue up a bit, she lost her 12yr old dog yesterday and of course being so far away from him made it worse. the vet thinks it was a brain tumour.

im feeling quite a bit better now, i really think being stuck in here 24/7 is the cause of it cos im sleeping so much better now too.

did mention this to the consultant i saw yesterday, he was busy writing stuff down as i talked to him and also mentioned my lack of being able to eat proper meals too so perhaps i can get his weight added to my cause !!

anyway gotta go, they will be here to pick me up soon. xx

HI everyonexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:-6

Well me an hubs had a great day in York! Done some shopping, drinking, eating, walking along the river etc. It was a lovely day and didnt start raining till early evening, hence we decided to have our evening meal in the pub we were staying in and it was absolutely gorgeous and Massive portions! Wish we could have stayed longer, you do need more than just one day in york. The pub we stayed at was quite small but really nice, and at the next table to us were a group of americans, and staing next door to us were an Australian couple on their honeymoon, touring Europe!

I have to say welcome to Lady G:D Dont forget to come back now!

Its great to see lots of posts on here, Hope ypou are all well and happy:-4

evenin all,

well, went to said pottery but i honestly cant remember having been there before!!

we spent a couple of hours in perranporth gill, sitting beside the little stream that runs through the town, with a pasty, in the very warm sunshine. had a wander down to the beach, it was a bit nippy there though with the breeze coming off the sea. theres loads of people still around.

very disapointed with me eldest though, she still hasnt said she'd look after the dog for me so i had to come home at tea time.

like i said to my boss, i might just aswell have gone to work early and had the rest of the day off.

the whole idea of having a week off, with the dog being looked after was for me to go and stay in the caravan with my friends, to get away from here so in a way it was all a waste of time.

pity daughter dosnt remember all the ruddy gardening i've done for her on me days off
