I went to my club yesterday afternoon and my son-in-law *sat* with Tony and when I got home my youngest brother and his wife had come to visit so that was a lovely surprise, they are on holiday in Padstow.

This morning we will soon be off on our car/walk, then we have the chiropodist coming at ten and this afternoon another little club which only happens once a fortnight when my daughter will be here to

* sit * with Tony so I am getting a couple of breaks and thank you for your concern.

Tomorrow after our car/walk we are taking Sophie for her shampoo and set and I think I had better take some more photographs before she gets mucked up at the duckpond and field, if the friend she plays with (Alsation)rolls in everything Sophie copies her so you can well imagine the state the pair of them get into.

So take care my friends and if I don't get chance to pop in tomorrow my Love to you all as always.

Joan xxSo glad you are getting abit of a "break" Joan as you so deserve it.Love to you all in Cornwall and hope Sophie stays clean lolxxxx

the aquarium was good yesterday, its not a very big place but lots of things to see. they had a massive lobster there, saw it on tv the other day and it took two people to hold it up !!

anyway, we are off out again later, dont know where yet. think i'll be glad to get back to work for a rest.:wah: ( NOT)

hope you all have a good day. xxxxxxxx

I have a picture that shows a line of little girls holding hands facing the immensity of ocean waves.

Alone they might be washed away, but together they stand strong.

Thank you each for holding my hand somewhere along the way when I was facing a wave of my own.

I hope you will reach for my hand when your own wave threatens......you know my friends who you arexxxx

Lesson to be learned from typing the wrong email address:

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a

Particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where

they spent their honeymoon 20 years before. Because of their hectic

schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel. So, the husband left Minneapolis and flew to Florida on Friday, and his wife was flying down the following day.

The husband checked into the hotel, and unlike years ago, there was

a computer in his room, and he decided to send an email to his wife.

However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without noticing his error, sent the email to the wrong address.

Meanwhile...somewhere in Houston a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a Minister who was called home to glory after suffering a heart attack.

The widow decided to check her email, expecting messages from

relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and then fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and then glanced up and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife

Date: Friday, October 13

Subject: I have arrived!

Dearest Love:

I know you are surprised to hear from me. They have computers here

now, and you are allowed to send email to your loved ones. I have just

arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow, and look forward to seeing you then.

Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.

PS ...... Sure is unbelievably hot down here!!

Never ceases to amaze me how people on FG seem to think its funny going on other threads to take the pee out of this one.Ok with Jim at least he does it "to our faces" if you like and we enjoy winding each other up and its all taken in the way it should be.Well I for one happen to think that this is a good thread and if it made Angie join FG after reading it then at least the banter that goes on here has made somebody happy .Sorry but after a while the pee taking does get on yer nerves .

Got this e mail from a friend this morning,, thought i would share:wah::wah:

Dear All

My thanks to all those who have sent me emails this past year........

I must send my thanks to whoever sent me the one about rat **** in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet towel with every envelope that needs sealing.

Also, I now have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown); who is about to die in the hospital for the 1,387,258th time.

I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the £15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program .

Or from the senior bank clerk in Nigeria who wants to split £7 million with me for pretending to be a long lost relative of a customer who died intestate.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa's novena has granted my every wish.

I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.

Thanks to you, I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

I no longer can buy petrol without taking a man along to watch the car so a serial killer won't crawl in my back seat when I'm filling up.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

Thanks to you, I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big brown African spider is lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it bites my bum.

And thanks to your great advice, I can't even pick up the £5.00 I found dropped in the car park because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting underneath my car to grab my leg.

If you don't send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 70 minutes, a large dove with diarrhoea will land on your head at 5:00pm this afternoon and the fleas from 12 camels will infest your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump.

I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbour's ex-mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's beautician.

By the way....a South American scientist after a lengthy study has discovered that people with low IQ who have infrequent sexual activity always read their e-mails with their hand on the mouse.

Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late

:D

Exactly! I say want to check if it is raining, then why waste time listening to them, just stick your hand out the window! :D

I hear from those so called 'weather experts' that this Winter is supposed to be pretty darn cold. I wonder whether they will get that right for a change. But going on the weather lately, they might actually be correct.
