Some people are just plain sick
Ok excuse my ranting but i was just on a Music Forum i go on and their was a Thread about Kurt Cobain and some of the posts people made on their were shocking e.g. " what Cobain did was Selfish and that he should burn in hell for his acts" i mean the guy was really depressed had a rough childhood e.t.c these things arnt easy to get over i had a abusive childhood aswell and i'm 18 now and i still arnt over it i wouldnt comit suicde but these situations have different effects on people

Some people are just plain sick
The world is full of mean and nasty people. The world is also full of genuinely decent folks. Some people just love to see misery in others, relish it even. They have little empathy or sympathy for the plight of others for what ever reasons. The best thing you can do is not stoop to their level and leave them to their own miserable lives.
Life ain't linear.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, ML. Not just about Kurt but about anyone who ends their life. They're probably saying he's selfish because he left a child and wife behind but in his mind, he obviously thought they'd do better without him. People will say someone who's suicidal is not in their right mind. I don't totally agree. Some have it all thought out and would seem to have a valid reason for their action. Others are a mental mess and are trying to kill the pain or the numbness they feel. Personally I think the really selfish ones are the people who say Kurt, etc are selfish. They have no empathy. They don't get it.
I still miss Kurt too sometimes. He had great potential as a human being due partially to his sensitivity but in the end, I think it was that same sensitivity that did him in.

No-one knows the reasons why a suicide acts as (s)he does so no-one has the right to criticize.

Great words indeed but suicide is such a horrific act, so hard to wrap your mind around. For others that is.
