Dreams.........................

What`s the best place to write about Dreams on this forum. General Chitchat or somewhere else please?

I only ask because I ALWAYS seem to be having weird dreams that I`d like to share with you (and you can share yours too!)

GO John GO - this sounds like a fun -or maybe weird - thread. I'll start. When I was a kid I used to dream a man in a black cape was chasing me around a fountain. When Grandma died - 30 years later - we were cleaning out her basement and I found a picture of the fountain - freaked me right out. My uncle had taken it in France during WWII. Do you hear Twilight Music playing it in the background?

Spooky, nvalleyvee! I suspect that (even though you can`t remember it) you may have seen the picture before, way back, and stored it in your subconscious. Then you subconsciously associated it with something mysterious hence its link in your dream to the man in the black cape. MAYBE!!!

The dream I had the other night started with a small dinner party, about 6 of us; I then said, "I just want to read something to you from the new Harry Potter book (NB: in real life, I don`t actually read them!), but when I went to get the book and stand at the podium to read it, I realised that what I had thought was a private dinner party, well, the table and chairs were actually on a stage, and there was a massive auditorium below just waiting for me to start reading! But every time I tried to start, there were schoolchildren, musicians, people from work, etc, all coming in all the time and interrupting me. Weird!

My Grandma used to say, if you dreamed of a Wedding then there would be a funeral within the near future. And if you dreamed of a Funeral or someone dying, then there would be a Wedding in the near future!

(She's gone now, but I did not dream of a Wedding any time before she died?

So guess it's just an old wive's tale)
