Usually I put my Christmas Tree up the day after Halloween, however, today on the radio, I heard Christmas Carols!!!!! Never hear them this early.

By the way I havent gotten around to putting up my tree, but I am baking banana

bread with butter and cream cheese for all those who want to stop by, and I have a 5th of Jack Daniels

Wow, you put your tree up so early!

I wait until a week or two before Christmas, that is early enough for me.

Hi-

Do you have an artificial tree or something? If I put a live tree up now all the needles would be gone by Christmas. I live in a very dry climate so don't get a tree until much later.

Wow you start early.

We wait to about 10 days before Christmas and we take the kids to a Christmas Tree farm where we walk through the trees to pick out the one we want. When we find it we take photos of the kids with the tree for the year, have a cup of tea, then call over one of the guys to come and cut it down for us.

They pack it up and put in our car, and we go straight home to put it up and decorate it. It is a tradition we love.

Slow down..sip some of that Jack Daniels...relax...enjoy the season.

The tree can wait.
