Thanks Giving - Next Week

I'm really looking forward to next week. Josh and Lucy are on early dismissal Mon thru Wed. then off school until the following Monday. I love having them home with me. :-4

Maybe I should re-visit this thread around .... say .... Friday and see if I still feel the same :wah:

No seriously, I love it when we get to spend time together, and have no pressure of getting up early and nagging about homework. :-4

I think Zakk get's out of school Tuesday. I need to recheck the schedule. :wah:

I love Thanksgiving, but seems like always on the go the entire time, and not really any downtime to just rest! Oh and my pants always are so tight that following Monday.

I agree Pheasy....I love staying home with the boys....more so the younger boys...they still love to bake and cook and watch TV with their dear OLD Mom!

This weekend was a nice lazy weekend...yesterday afternoon (early) My middle son made apple cinnamon cupcakes and then he made home-made chicken pot pie for dinner and the youngest and I made home made choc. chip cookies...and while we were mixing up the batter my youngest looked up at me and said....I really miss doing this with you....:-1 :-4:-4

As for Thanksgiving (after rambling about that) I will be alone this year, the Ex will have the boys for 4 days and I will be at the house alone.....which will be okay....I'll miss them, but I need quiet time also!
