I agree, Angeleyes. The best Thanksgiving memories are not about the food, but about the laughter and love.

I was in my late 30s until I moved up to the adult table......:wah:

The kids table was the best, we were the kids even into our 30s and 40s. We read our comic books from the 50s, and had fun out on the porch laughing and goofing around. Now, my cousin grew up and found out how much our comic books were, and sold them when he was going to college-and didn't tell us. Next Thanksgiving, we showed up at Grandmother's like usual, and they were gone! We chased him all over the neighborhood, until Grandma told us to cut it out. My brother two years ago bought another copy of my comic book for me, for my Christmas present.:-4

Haha!! I know about that! It was always a card table with rickety fold-up chairs! :wah:

We always saved the wishbone every year and would leave it hanging on a cupboard knob all year to dry out. Then we'd break the previous year's wishbone, my cousin and I. It was only a few years ago that I took the wishbones down. I thought everyone had wishbones hanging in their kitchen!
