but before you all get your money out better check that WW3 can actually come over - passport, babysitter etc. Not to put a downer on it but I know passports can take a while to come through in the US.

January is fine for me and I don't mind if it's in Brum or Bristol. Boops - get to Exeter and I'll drive you on from there sweetie, provided you can read a map!!:wah:

I checked out tickets -

It looks like there is no direct flight from Washington DC (Is that your nearest International airport Wenders?) to Birmingham UK. Direct would be best right ?

Not sure exactly where you guys are planning to meet-up, and where Wendy is going to stay.

So I checked Washington to Heathrow, the best price in mid. Jan I could find was with Virgin at $500 approx.

Can anyone else get a better deal?

How close are we to that figure - I lost track?

First of all...I'm completely overwhelmed by everyones kindness and was a loss for words...and I KNOW that was shocking in itself!:D

I would have to figure out the days and see if I can....I would love to do it....but like Immy said, there are some things that would have to be in order first...as far as a babysitter, I think that can be taken care of, again it will depend on how long I'll be gone? I have some vacation days from work....but I don't like to take too many in the event I need them for the kids being sick etc.

It would a dream come true if it happens I can tell ya that much!:-4

And to answer you earlier, yes I'd fly out of DC or BWI, whichever had the cheapest rates, I can go to either one in DC...Richmond is closer but more expensive to fly out of usually....the drive to dc isn't bad.
