What single incident changed your life and participated in making you who you are?

I realize that a series of incidents make us who we are, however, name an incident that was significant in a major change?

The birth/loss of my 2nd son Daniel. He was born at 20 weeks gestation and died at birth. I held him for only 2 hours but the amount of goodness/enrichment/love that he gave/taught me in that short time is immeasurable. A true angel, for I was blind but now I see!

I think it set the patterns of my life, so I could endure through changes that have come since then.
