Free security download

Coild someone tell me what was the highly reccommended security download?

It was something like.... AVP???? My Mcaffee is about to expire... I dont really see how it was all that good anyway.......

I'm not sure which you're looking for Weeder but you'll probably recognize it from here: http://www.majorgeeks.com I get almost everything I need from there. I currently use Avast! antivirus. It was free.

I use AVG along with the free AVG spyware. I have tried loads and find AVG the best.:-6:-6:-6

I used to both AVG and zone alert, both free and I found them to be very good. Now my ISP provider supplies a full security suite free-well obviously not free as i pay monthly but you get my drift.

Same here Yahoo teamed up with Norton and now gives free spyware and virus protection to clients.

Thank you everyone. Thank you Pam. I downloaded AVG. Should I uninstall Mcaffee??? The subscription has 45 days to go. Its not good to run 2 at the same time, is it?

I did uninstall it. Now, what is zone alert? Should I have that also?

Zone Alarm? That's a firewall. You might well want to keep that, it's not a virus checker.
