do you prefer links or the actual post?
how many of you enjoy opening links to see what a thread is about? i would rather see the story myself..opening links opens you up to receiving unwanted cookies and other stuff doesnt it?

I hate links because I end with so much on here my computer crashes. I'm having a problem right now with shutting down individual tabs, if i close one it closes down them all :-5

I see what you're saying, but we can't post another person's article on here for legal reasons. You offer a very valid point, however.
To be honest, I'd much rather see a person posting a thread showing some intelligence worthy of discussion for themselves and posting their own thoughts on a topic. When I see just a title and a link all that tells me is this person can't think for themselves and I ignore it... sometimes I'll make a smart-ass retort, however. :p I see it as nothing more than post-whoring spam and if that's your intention, then post in the "words that end in -ing" thread or something. Anyway, I'm sure we've all seen or heard the original story and personally, I skip over all that nonsense to begin with, anyway... I certainly don't want to hear it again verbatim.
