Where do you get all your news stories from? do you really want to see links posted here about news you can read for yourself..or would you rather have honest open..discussions and topics of interest?

I like both and thats why I like it here cos I get all my needs met lol:wah::wah:
I usually go to BBC news and sometimes when trawling for one thing I find another and sooo on and so goes another hour lol

I'm all for honest open discussions, but I also really appreciate coming across a link to something I am unaware of.
Pegs missing children story links jumps to the forefront of my mind.
Quite often I stumble across a link in the garden to a story I wouldn't have thought would interest me. Who posted that link can and does influence whether or not I click on it.

Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about!

Yes. Threads about things such as our bathrobes, what we had for dinner, what's your favorite smiley face and obvious bait threads. Absolutely.

I don't have to read the news I get lots of info on here, some I enjoy others I don't.
Some posters I read some I don't.
It's all personal preference,likes & dislikes.
Some posters like to stir, some like to have fun, some are serious.
That is what a forum is all about.

I like the fun stuff, sometimes I get in the mood for some serious stuff, but honestly I say my say and read a bit and move on....my feeble little brain can't take too much .....it screams "overload"!!!--and makes beeping noises.....:wah:

I like the joking around threads, life can be depressing enough as it is.
It's nice to mess around and have a joke with people. The best threads here were Bothwells Pub way back and Galballys Advice Thread along with hundreds of other really funny threads involving a brown cardigan :wah:

I enjoy the joke threads too. Jimbos 'spoof photo' thread is really funny. There have been loads of threads with playful banter - they are fun. I like a good debate too, I usually learn a lot, they are very interesting. FG has variety thats fun.

I thought that was a newsbot on here or summat? :wah:
I read only specific topics that pertain to me on the web and I only want to hear about them again if there's something new. I hate when newscasters waste my valuable time by reitterating what is rehashed news as something new ...and then make you wait until the end of the news program before they finally give you the full story.
