What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Post by grh »

I think this movie was the reason I have never seen Jaws or The Exorcist or a host of other scary movies. Psycho? Forget about it! Wasn't happening.

Tremors and The Burbs brought me back somewhat, but unless I'm guaranteed to laugh quite a bit, just not that interested in paying to be scared, sorry:rolleyes:

Are there any movies that have caused you to change what you were interested in spending time watching?

Don't know what even made me think of this... for sure it wasn't looking into the mirror this morning..:p:D
Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about!

I honestly think she is the reason I never liked to wear makeup:thinking:

recently... Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the remake.

I just decided that watching some stuff added nothing useful to my life.

What ever happened to Baby Jane is one of my favorites..

Anything to do with Bette Davis - what a classic movie - love it & I watched it not too long ago LOVE IT..

Now - Jaws - changed everything - I used to jump in the Pacific Ocean from a rope swing off a bridge - after Jaws, no more jumping in for me.

While in Florida my husband & I kept going out & going further out into the Ocean just to ride the waves - alot of fun

That evening a guy on the beach caught a Sting Ray - Opps

And when we returned home - on the news there was a shark attack on the vary same beach we were on.

See I allowed my husband to talk me into going out far - I let my guard down

We go to Hawaii every year - can't go out too far - just can't.

Never again

Baby Jane is a cool movie - I love anything with Bette Davis - favorite

Actually most shark attacks occur near shore.

I know about the shark attacks happen close to shore - we were'nt out that far - maybe waist high - thats what scared the hell out of me. We get home and the news stated the shark was very close to shore - never again.

In Hawaii on the North Shore is where the Surf Competitions are held, since the waves are huge - shore is very different than the Waikiki beach area - hundreds are surfing - I couldn't imagine being out that far.

Yes - that air conditioner/or Evap cooler works great.

Jaws definitely changed my life. I absolutely love the ocean, but still fear it and watch it closely...it is never your friend:wah: When I was in Florida this summer the was a shark attack on my beach. A woman was bitten on the leg, and she was in waist-high water. We also have shark sitings on my beach in NJ. You can see them through your binoculars right past the suffers......yipes.
