Moon

I'm not sure I understand what your pissed about? I'm aware of your other thread - and I completely understand the seriousness & concern of the ovary ordeal.

Your friend will have the ovary removed - or a complete hysterectomy.

Has this growth been diagnosed as Cancer ?

Your friend had a partial hysterectomy & the Drs left her ovarys in tacted - and a cyst/growth on the ovary isn't uncommon - could very well be scar tissue from prior surgery.

Don't jump to Cancer

There are several here at FG, myself included who have had the same/similar surgerys for cysts & growths etc..

Please keep us updated

I am so sorry to hear this, I just hope that they can help her. Are they going to operate and offer treatment?

Just read Patsys post, sorry I thought it was def cancer. If it's a cyst or scar tissue then although she will be in pain, she will be ok. :)

I orginally had this post as "I am so pissed" I hope I edited it properly.

Anyways, my girlfriend had surgery today, and they took out the mass on her right Fallopian Tube and Ovary, and they tested it, and it is A-OK - benign. So we are all doing a happy dance now for her. Thanks for all your support.

Thanks MrsK. It has been quite worriesome, but at least she had the surgery finally. It was a month of waiting and a lot of worrying, even though they thought that the tumour looked good, if that is what they can say about tumuors. So at least the waiting is over, and now the healing begins.

The waiting & not knowing is the worst part.

I am sure your friend will be fit & well in no time.

Just be there & help her:-6
