Ever eat something you know you shouldn't with the advance plan of fixing it with Maalox? That was me eating Tiki Masala chicken two nights ago. SPICY!!

What does it for you?

That's what I'm talking about :D

Food you eat even when you know the consequences.

A restaurant down the street called The Dragon has a great cheap Chinese buffet but everyone knows about the DragonFire the next day. LOL

LOL!! Guppy! :wah: :-3:wah:

I eat hot and spicy food regularly but I have acid reflux and the only problem I have is if I'm foolish enough to eat too soon before sleeping. Then I wake up with acid crawling up my throat, or should I say burning its way up my throat and I either have to run to the bathroom and get rid of it or if it's not so bad, take a handful of TUMS. Taco Bell and stuff with tomato sauce are the worst offenders.

I used to use various acid reducers when it was real bad but for some reason it has ceased considerably. I have a bad attack about once or twice a year now. I don't know if I'm being more careful or if I'm just fortunate....but I was worried about my esophagus there for a while. Do you know which medication is considered the best for this?

I lived on Maalox and Tums the entire time I was pregnant with my daughter. I had constant heartburn from stress and any food I ate.
