The little 'fatherless' hoodie idiots are at it yet again. One day they will over-do it and get themselves burned (do I hear a 'hopefully' somewhere in my head ?). That's the third lock-up garage they've tried to burn down, the second in under a week !

They had better keep away from our lock-up garage, in another block. But it is worrying, cos we've got two motorcycles, two pedal cycles and loads of other stuff in there.:-5:mad:

I think the police would be hard pressed to catch a bloody cold matey !!!! But to be fair, these scroats wear 'hoodies', they all dress alike, and they leg it before anybody can get close enough to ID them. Well thank you Jimbo ! But I'm afraid it seems to be an ongoing problem round here. It is surprising really, because I live in a 'nice' residential area. However, most of the scroats seem to come from other areas and meet up in our area. The 14 - 18 year olds gather in gangs of anything up to about 60 in number, which is very intimidating. They 'mooch' around just looking for mischief and are very noisy of course, they drink and they 'smoke' and I dare say they take other 'stuff' as well. Fortunately we have not had 'gang' problems for about a month - this of course may be because we have had to remove our two Reliant Rialtos to a safe place, where we store our caravan, so they aren't sitting outside tempting the idiots to 'roll' them over. We have had to use our Volvo for necessary journeys, and that adds to the expense.

Now there are younger scroats looking for a 'buzz' - youngsters of between 10 and 14 who, at the moment are finding great sport in setting fire to lock-up garages that are near to us. This trend is very worrying to us, as we rent a lock-up garage in another block from the one's that have recently been under attack. Ours is fairly full of all sorts of things including two motor bikes, two pedal cycles - much of the stuff is fairly inflammable, so if these idiots turn their attention to the block of lock-ups where ours is, there would be quite a conflagration ! The garages that have been attacked, so far, have been nearly empty - just a few empty boxes and some newspaper and rags, so they have not been too bad as the fire brigade have been able to quickly put them out and damp down. It would be a very different story in some of the other garages though.

Then one wonders whether it would stop at just garages ! Oh deep joy

The problems we are suffering from seem to be common throughout the land ! We are not unique, these idiots are everywhere and totally out of control, simply because their parents don't seem to be able to keep them under control, or can't be bothered - so long as they don't get 'under Dad and Mum's feet', they just don't seem to care where they are or what they are doing. There is no control over them at school either, simply because teachers are totally hamstrung as regards punishment for wrong doing - they are not allowed to touch the little dears. I know there are parents who do their best and do have a certain amount of control, and do try. But there is the ogre 'peer pressure' which is extremely difficult to compete with these days.

Oh I could go on and on, sorry, I've just chucked my soap box into one of the lock-up garages !

Yes we have, Carol, and I never sung a note ! It was her down our road

I thought it was a fire engine at first ! Then I saw her in her garden hangin out the washing - she had to take it in again 10 minutes later cos it pissistently all of a sudden. :wah::wah:

Chezzie, that pic of the woman falling through the hatchway reminded me of when I did very similar. We used to own a charter/trip boat business on the River Trent at Nottingham. The wheelhouse of our large, passenger carrying 'little ship' had brown carpetting on the deck of it and the windows all round the wheelhouse, although they let plenty of light in, did not light up the floor area, so when some wally left the engine room hatch open in the wheelhouse, the hole could not be seen very clearly - as it was fairly dark in the engine room as well. So when I went into the wheelhouse to fetch something I didn't see that the hatch was open and down I went !! I was covered with a mass of bruises all over my ribs, arms, legs. Fortunately no bones were broken, but I was very stiff for days afterwards !! Oh and no the engine was not running at the time, thank goodness. We were tied to our jetty.

I've managed to change my signature to show my 'little ship' - which doesn't look as big on the pic as it really was ! We were entitled to carry 80 fare-paying passengers, plus crew. On this pic. there is a trad. jazz band on the top deck, and as it was such a lovely evening everybody wanted to be outside on the top deck ! So it was as well that we kept the numbers down to 60 to allow for this. It is difficult to see but the saloon, below, where the bar is was empty of any passengers! :wah::wah::guitarist:D

UP & DOWN SEX

At a Senior Citizen's luncheon, an elderly

gentleman and an elderly lady

Im sitting here surrounded by boxes, all my sons stuff, hes been away for five years so he got a lot of stuff. Anyway he is busy sorting it out now, only thing is he is having to empty cupboards and wardrobes full of stuff we put there as we were using it as storage, so now im still gonna end up with a load of stuff and trying to find somewhere to put it:-5 Oh well looks like its about time i chucked some stuff out:wah:
