hubby has been buying and selling stuff on there for years but he only deals with paypal and only buys things from people who accept paypal.

Speaking of which, I can't wait to see my plaid Keds. :D

Oh no :-2....did you not get your money back? did you pay by paypal, cos if you did, you can report the person and pay pal will chace them down for you and get your money back.....but i guess that doesn't really help now

I have before. My friend was collecting perfume bottles with celestial themes on them and I bought about 8 for her. I have been ripped off several times but I buy so much that it comes out as rare.

I would definately but xmas pressies off ebay.

I had a bad experience 3 week ago, I won & paid for a ring,

paid through paypal and unfortunately the payment went through twice so instead of the £70.04 I paid £140.08,

thing is, the seller refused to refund me one of the payments and to top it all I never received the ring!

So I now have two disputes going through paypal and the seller has'nt responded to either of them.

But seriously, I am an e-bayer and have had only 2 out of over 250 bad seller experiences. I got all the gifts for the girls in the office at E-bay.
