You know you are from a GREAT town...

Our troops are due back in the morning at 8:00 AM! Our town has really been hitting the decorating HARD! - Our streets are lined with signs and yellow ribbons! What a wonderful thing- All the troops from Carroll are coming home with out a death in our area...We HAVE BEEN BLESSED! :-4 - How do your towns celebrate when the troops return after their tour??....................

That's wonderful mom, you can be proud of your town, and especially proud of your troops. Yes it was a blessing-no casualties!!! Welcome them home from us FG'ers to! :-6

Mom lives in Carrollton Iowa (I believe).(Carroll County) It is a place I want to visit. Small town America at her best. My Grandfather was born there as was his dad. My GG grandfather settled there in the early 1850's before it was a county.

You bet I am going ther before I die.

They know how to honor our fighting men in littler towns rather than larger I think...................................
