Bleach. Most effective. Be sure to dilute it with water, three parts water to one part bleach. Then hang the affectd item, or expose it, to strong sunlight for a day or two, on a clothes line. My grandmother taught me that.

Have you tried white vinegar diluted in water & wipe over mould,put in sun to dry:-6
