Taking immigration and Iraq off the table by order of the debate moderator seemed aimed unfairly at Ron Paul for whom those issues are significant. He still managed to bring foreign policy in as a cause of the economic problem and looked sensible in the process. He was the only one being realisting over energy independence too.

I winced at John McCain's use of “Islamo-fascism, I'd hoped that was fading.

I'd be pleased to see Ron Paul get to the presidency and he didn't disgrace himself, only he and Mitt Romney sounded rationally coherent. Rudy Giuliani and John McCain just competed with each other to find who could bark loudest while frothing at the mouth.
