When you were in high school, what role did you play? Were you a jock, a mathlete, a dungeons and dragons fan, a headbanger, poet, nerd, bully...?

I wasn't any of those. I don't know how you would of described me. I was friends with everyone. But I also had the reputation of being a b*tch, and the guys especially avoided making me mad. I could take their insults, and toss them right back. In fact the only person I ever wanted to physically fight was a guy, but his girlfriend was one of my best friends. :wah:

I was quiet, exept when I was around my girl friends. I was the artist. I was in a school play once, "The Man Who came to Dinner." I had the small part of the teen-aged girl, June. I was not trendy or anything like that. Adulthood was a fascinating mystery to me. I liked to listen to my records and dance.

In the 7th grade I was a pot-smoking alcholic....got tired of that by the time I got in high school, was preppy and friends with cheerleaders, jocks, potheads, farmers....etc.

Basically I loved everyone, and a social butterfly....I went to school for the social scene....no one told me it was really important that I get good grades!:o:o

I was similar to Wendy in High School. And, look at me now....got my tail in gear, went to college, worked and paid for all those years by myself, and now I've been teaching little kidlets all my life and still loving it.:-4

Semi-popular Jock I guess, I was the all time high scoring running back for my HS back then! Attended many parties, both at school, as welll as private ones too! Never checked to see if my record was ever broken, didn't really want to know if it was!? :)

I graduated in 92'. I hung out with a lot of groups. I had a weird high school. The "popular kids", ie the kids with money or into sports, weren't really popular with anyone but the other "popular" kids.

The other 90% of us didn't really care about them. I hung out with skaters, angst ridden philosopher types (I think that’s where emo came from), the D&D kids, skinheads (not that I bought into their crap), headbangers, hippies, and god knows who else.

I guess it was that perfect time when Gen X thing made being "popular" not popular.

I can't say I fell into any certain category. I could get along with anyone. I talked to everyone. I hung out with mostly guys. My best friend any could ever have was a guy. He died in 1980 and I still miss him. :-1

I was rather unassuming, hung out with a bunch of kids from both the grade higher and lower then me and we happily skipped class to sit out on the lawn and just be kids. (high school of course) After school hours we were a bunch of party animals. I kid you not.
