Our forecast does not say it is going to snow (possibly a flurry), but the cold is going to stay, so the snow we already have will still be on the ground for Christmas Day. Makes landing that sledge a little easier. :-4

I have never had a White Christmas, have lived in Maryland and Virginia and a short time in York, PA....never ever had white stuff on the ground....one of my dreams is to ride in a one horse open sleigh in a field of snow like in the old Andy Williams Christmas Specials or who ever it was.....always thought that looked SO cool!!:)

We had 16 inches of snow last X-Mas..........Not much predicted for this year. At least we are getting the expected amount of moisture this fall................maybe that means we won't have the INFESTATION of grasshoppers that ate my garden and our yard last year.

I never really thought about infestations of locust (grasshppers) before that could cause famine. Dang - I woke the hell up this past summer. All of my plants were eaten before they were even producing 5 leaves on the vine.
