Did you ever go back and read your 'intro' thread.

Mine was titled 'Hello' - don't laugh I spent hours thinking up that title :wah:

The post wasn't much better ....

Hello all. I just joined this site and wanted to say Hi to everyone. I am from the UK but 3 years ago moved to New Jersey in USA. I am married with 2 children. I look forward to meeting you all

I just read it and saw Soberano was one of the first to welcome me. Does anyone know where he went? He was a great laugh, him and Jimbo used have a proper comedy duo going :wah:

Good lord Pheasy... okay, I'll play. It's an awful thread though. The title's " It would be proper to speak here" and it starts "Hi people. My name's Spot". It's an uninspired start to a posting history that rapidly went downhill.

I brag in it that "I found I was ambidextrous at the age of 7", suggest that the British should settle for being European ("scrap Westminster and let the Russians join up too") and bewailing my lack of bicycle since the last one broke. What sort of intro is that? I'm horrified.

I had friendly replies from hotsauce and her sister, peg and abbey and minks and koan and BR and mominiowa which is a great welcoming committee.

My intro was interesting also, I had NO clue what to say....here it is:

"Hello I'm Wendy and new here (of course- duh). I am a very busy single Mom of 3 wonderful boys, I haven't filled in alot of my profile just yet, still figuring it all out...I work 2 jobs, so not much time for a social life, but love to relax at the computer. I haven't been here long, but looks like a nice place!! The scenery is fun!!"

It was a fun thread, I enjoyed looking back and seeing Wendybird, Zinky and Hamster in the thread:-4:-4:-4 ...AussiePam and Wendybird got into a discussion of WHERE the name "Wendy" came from....was fun!:wah:

Im aiming to hit 2000 before 2007 so expect a high volume of utter drivvel:wah

Thats funny, because I wanted to get to 10,000 before 2008....I have a strange feeling you might get to 10,000 before I do!!:wah::wah::wah:

Hello everyone, another new member. My name is Sheryl, married, shots are up to date, 2 kids, 2 cars, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and I live in Texas. More details later after I have had caffiene.

My first one was pretty nice I thought, mentioned some of my interests and got a friendly response, I was gone for almost a year after that so I reintroduced myself with a pretty lackluster intro and got pretty much the same lackluster response.
