we have not spoken too much and i really dont know to much about you , i really hope you have a great christmas

i have done my usual and invited a few people round that i know are on their own over christmas

suzy knows that the thought of them being on their own would upset me and ruin my christmas ,she just goes with the flow now, christmas is not all about the drinks and presents to me its about caring for other people ,if i feel i have made someone happy over christmas then that has made me happy over christmas :thinking: and i know there will be a few people round our house over christmas that would of other wise of been on their own so i will be very happy over christmas

just hope the buggers dont mind washing up and hoovering :wah

Not a lot to know, really, Jimbo. I've just stumbled my way through life, like we all do, perhaps spending far too much time worrying about things that didn't happen :-5

Christmas with my daughter, her husband and my granddaughter, and my son and his partner. For the past few years we've played those sing-a-long dvd games but this year it will be the Wii. Since I'm the only one who hasn't played it yet, I shall be the laugh of the day. It was the same with the sing-a-long games...I was always given a song that I didn't know, and no-one wanted me on their team! The cheek of it!

Have a lovely day, both of you :-6

I understand where you are coming from, and that was a beautiful opening post Jimbo!!

I haven't had a real "Happy" Christmas in a very long time, and right now I am crying....I try to make the best of it, and re-assure myself that everything is going to be okay. I know the important part of Christmas, and I celebrate that with my loved-ones. I would just really like to not have a burden on my heart at Christmas....and I know someday I will feel like you feel this year Jimbo. :-4

I hope you and Suzy and the kids have a Very Merry Christmas!! Love You two to bits!:-4:-4:-4

I am glad you feel able to move on a little, and will be having a nice christmas this year.

To anyone else who is experienceing sadness, I am always willing to talk, can't help much but can talk.
