Breath test

Post by abbey »

Someone bought me a D I Y breathaliser (sp?) test for a pressie.

I have, of course been testing it works this evening (hic)

It certainly made me worry, after 3 bottles of Bud I was over the limit (UK) for driving.

Do you know when you've had enough and more importantly, have you ever driven when you've felt you should'nt have?

i always make sure i have only 1 glass if i am driving.

i sometimes think that even that is a bit risky.

I think we have all drank booze and have driven home at one time or another. I know I did a lot of times when I was younger. Did get into a really bad accident when I lived in Texas, and still don't know why I was never charged - even though I totalled my mustang. The only thing I can think of was the other drivers were drinking too - even though they were black people from what I heard. I would like to know who called who to tell them about the accident I was in - nobody has told me anything. Lost conciousness for a couple of days, and even buggered up my eyesight for a few weeks. I guess you could say I was lucky. Seat belts were never an issue back then. So keep experimenting, but I guess, just don't do it in the first place.

Nope ive never drunk and drove...Hubby did around 17 years ago, only just over the limit aka 3 pints but still over and we paid heavily on fines and insurance plus the inconvenience of trying to get to work etc. Also he could of hurt someone, he didnt even feel slightly drunk though...

I wont even have 1 drink and drive.:)

Also peeps need to be aware of the day after as I have many friends who have been breathalized the day after a hard night and they were over the limit.

I was always the DD when I was younger 'cause I just don't drink. Often times, I wish I did, but just don't like the alcohol 'taste' to things.:-2
Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about!

Well no we haven't all done that. Some of us give a crap about who else is on the road. But what I want to know is what do "black people" have to do with drinking too much Moonpie? That made absolutely no sense.
