What are those little bumps that hurt at the end of your tongue??

I get these little bumps at the end of my tongue, and my momma used to tell me it is because I lied about something. I know I have not lied for a while, yet I have one now that has been there for a week at least. You know the kind I am talking about, the ones right at the tip, usually around the side of the tongue, but they really hurt? Does anyone else get these?? I am serious here.

This is my best guess as to what you have going on: Tongue Pimples are not a type of acne or a type of canker sore, they are actually inflamed taste buds caused by injury, or acidic foods like tomatoes and oranges.

They usually disappear within 5 days. In the meantime, gargle with salt-water

a few times a day to ease the discomfort. Hope you feel better soon.

The irritation is from Acid or Salt

Which have you been eating alot of? alright then

I didn't know that.

I get them all the time now I know why.Thanks.

I eat lemons with salt,lots of tomatoes with salt & vinegar.:-6:-6

What about mouth ulcers . I get them now and them, bonjella the stuff you can use for babies that are teething works at soothing the pain .

I've also found Tiger balm works wonders for cold sores around the mouth (i've had three and twice they made me look like Donald Duck) gets rid of them within about 24 hours if you put enough on .:-6
