build an arc instead, and then stock it with two of every kind of animal, that'll keep you quiet for a bit, and give the rspca inspectors something to think about.

People have already done that Jimbo. What you want is a project nobody's done before. Something that you can do in your own garden or garage. Something that would be exciting and impressive. I'll think of alternatives.

The obvious one is to drill into the Earth's mantle, that would seriously impress me and you could heat your house for free at the same time.

I think you should tape drinking straws together laying them end to end until you have circumnavigated the globe.

(Our globe...(Earth) not an alien globe)

Thats cool jimbo, I would love to build a kit car or rennovate an old one someday, though they are both big jobs so not for a while I think. I am all for your new project and I hope it goes well! :guitarist
