What Men Value

Women are raised to value relationships; everyone knows this. Men, on the other hand, are often thought of as placing sex above all other needs. However, contrary to this belief, research has found that men value relationships as much as women.

In a study performed by Playboy, men were surveyed to see what they valued most to make their lives happy and satisfying. Below is a list of the top 11 values in order of preference. The results may surprise you:

* Health - 89%

* Love - 85%

* Peace of mind - 84%

* Family life - 84%

* Work/Career - 65%

* Friends - 63%

* Respect - 58%

* Education - 57%

* Sex - 49%

* Religion - 41%

* Money - 39%

As you see, "love" was ranked number two by the majority of men surveyed on the list of values with sex coming in at number nine. If you're one of the people who misjudged men and their needs, let this study allow you to open up your mind and see how multi-faceted men's needs really are. By doing so, you will have a richer relationship with the man you love.

polls from playboy i would not consider accurate in the least. most readers of playboy are most likely younger men who have no long term experience in relationships nor are they sure what sex attracts them the most? what men value changes as they age? with my man nearing 50 if i was dead weight he would have disposed of me long ago. :-6

I am astonished, genuinely ASTONISHED, that money comes in LAST with sex only a few places above it!!!

Playboy isn't porn. Not even close.

i love porn. some of it. hate some of it. some is disgusting. some is demeaning to women. some is demeaning to men. whether it demeans the person working in it is rather that person's business, not anyone elses, save evidence they are coerced. same pretty much goes for the consumers as well.

regarding the survey, as with most such surveys it is quite meaningless. frankly, i think *surveys* are demeaning to both men and women. we learn nothing about our own humanity by knowing how other people respond to shallow questions asked by poll-takers.

men value clean clothes, good food and a half way decent looking wife. (normal man). :wah: sex if they behave or find some-one else.

If that's what you want to look at fine, but, I do have to say that I'm surprised by your comments. You come across as someone with higher values than that.

What is it?
high resolution satellite image of mesopotamia and surrounding region. i was interested in getting a 'good look' at the desert between syria and iraq.

it's where most of the jihadist are coming into iraq from syria. i was interested in what sort of terrain it presented.
