self defence for women
I have a built in self defence mechanism that when let off:sneaky: can render people unconscious for hours:wah::wah::wah:

Guys are drooling over this, huh?
Seriously that was interesting, but how can a person remember to do all those moves? Does it come as second nature after awhile?

Best self defence for women is Judo I reckon. More use at close quarters and you actually do the throws on practice, or if someone grabs you from behind. A contest between a karate player and a judo player lasts only until the judo player gets a grip. being smaller and faster than your opponent helps as well

I remember some stuff from my police training but the best self defence for women is your brain - keep yourself safe, avoid dodgy situations, talk your way out of trouble etc etc.
My brother used to do karate, he used to like to aim a kick at me when I was not expecting just to see me jump!!!

Don't they ever fight standing up?!
Or do you have to be in a sexual position to defend yourself? :wah:
The best defense is to never let them get you on the floor. But if they do, those moves are pretty good. Men may make fun of the way women fight, but you will always see a man cover his face and step back because he never knows if she is going to hit, scratch, pull his hair or bite him.

When choosing between two evils, I always like to take the one I've never tried before.

Still think Judo is the best initially for a woman. Brutal, to the point, and usually against a heavier stronger opponent who has grabbed you, exactly what a woman is likely to be up against. Aikido takes too long to get good at but the arm locks are pretty devastating as well if you're weaker than your opponent. I can empathise with the getting older bit. I'm self employed and can't afford the risk of getting injured-find I don't bounce the way I used to.
