Two hour delay I am wishing for you, and extra sleep.

It's snowing!
Ah, but wasn't it pretty for awhile? The kids and teachers were happy. The young teachers stood out in the falling snow, while the buses rolled away....
It's snowing!
cool! I'd love for the kiddies to experience snow. :-6
It's snowing!
Yesterday the weather was very cautious to admit it might snow tonight or tomorrow. Rare in my neck of the woods, about once every 7-10 years.
And they said if it did, it would not stick. BOOOOOOO! :-1
The last time it really snowed, they called it thundersnow. Never heard of that until then. Went to bed that night just knowing it was going to snow. Woke up in the middle of the night to lightening and thunder, cursed and went back to sleep. But woke up to about six or seven inches of beautiful snow! Played in it all day while idiots tried to drive in it.
We do good to drive in rain but snow really brings out the brave and stupid! :wah:

It's snowing!
Woke up to snow falling this morning! Big fat juicy flakes, it was beautiful. At the time it wasn't sticking.
Later, the flakes became smaller and began to stick. They said it would snow until later this afternoon and possibly get 1-2 inches. I had to run to the corner store and the wipers wiped off about a half inch from the windshield! I'm very happy cuz I was off today and didn't have to deal with weather and road problems.
After a while, it turned to sleet and then back to snow. It was beautiful, but we got nowhere near 2 inches. It's about all melted now, a little left on roofs, cars and patches in the yards. Took the boy out but he wasn't very impressed. But he did learn that dogs should never look straight up when it's snowing. He wanted to go back inside. Gave him a snow ball, he took it and spit it out. Too cold. :wah:
I'm sure some of you guys are used to it but it's sort of rare here and it's fun to see, I wish it had been more and lasted longer. I sat at the window and just watched it pour down. I'm sure if I had to deal with it everyday for months, I'd get sick of it. For now, it was enough. :-6
