Postcard beauty

I was inspired to start this thread by the America the Beautiful thread. I thought we could post pictures showing the beauty of where we live.

I'm blessed on the west coast of Canada to live within views of the Pacific Ocean, picturesque coastal mountains, and lush, green forests of evergreen fir trees.

great thread idea turbs! those pics are awesome, especially the top one.

i think i've seen a similar shot but it was at night with a huge moon hung low in the sky. if you find that one, could you post it? it is mesmerizing.

Haven't found it yet, but here's a pic with nice lighting - this is Duffey Lake

And Stanley Park in a magical mist...

And this is a walk away from my home....(fresh salmon right off the boats!)

I live at the Four Corners, the place where four states all meet. On the down slope I have desert and Monument Valley, but I live in the foothills of the Rockies, near Mesa Verde:

Yep, look above on FG main page and click on pictures. In the meantime,County Wicklow in Southern Ireland. My favourite place.

Thanks Capt B. Some really great pics in there, I do like County Wicklow, never been but I have driven from Larne to County Cork where my older sister lives in a small village near the coast. She went on a two weeks holiday when she was 18 and decided to stay. It's a truly wonderful country.
