East Coasters
I'm thinking about a relocation, once again, come late this year or early next.
East coast.
Maine, Virginia, one of the Carolinas.
Maine is my number one choice at the moment due to it's lack of inhabitants.
Tell me something good about the place you live.
I could care less about night life. I prefer a small corner bar. A farmer's market is fantastic. I want to be able to see and hear the ocean. Etc.
No Florida, I have a personal grudge against the entire state. Long story. Nothing south of South Carolina for that matter.

well..i live in georgia..we have long warm summers..lightening bugs at night..slower lifestyle here..less traffic..not a big town...close to the beach..its an hour away...i live in the country...lots of woods to walk through...a river in front of me..i hear owls at night...deer walk through here alot..wild turkeys..I live on a dirt road..I like that..but I suppose wherever you go kb..it will be the best..cause you will be there..:-6and you will be at home..home is where your heart is afterall....

Virginia is beautiful, but you wont hear the ocean unless you go to Virginia Beach, which I do not care for at all. We do of course have farmers markets. Pretty much no night life... and bars, but they arent on the corner, and they probably close earlier than you are used to. Maine and Virginia are very very different from each other. Maine is too cold for me.

Well, as Weeder pointed out, you would have to go near VA Beach to hear the ocean or....there is this wonderful place called Chincoteague Island...one of my most favorite places to go....I haven't been there in 10 years of course, but its one of my faves!!

Now, of course there are other great places along the coast...I'm 2 hours away from VA Beach, 1 hour(approx) from DC and Richmond....but if you want slow paced...I wouldn't recommend Fredericksburg, its crazy busy!!
Keep us posted on what you come up with!!:-6

Maryland-it's nice here, plenty of jobs, if you're in the Baltimore area it is a trip to the beach, a little further north is Delaware. Very nice there also.

Sounds like a blast to me.
Like I said if I do decide to relocate it is still a good bit off. Lots can happen between now and then. It did the last time I was thinking about relocating.
