explorer - not opening

Post by wardah »

ok, if anyone could help me with this i would be much obliged...

I have a shortcut to Windows Explorer on my taskbar, but when I click on it, the little hourglass thing comes up and then nothing else happens. I can get to explorer by going through another shortcut on my desktop that takes me to a specific folder, but not through the desktop. It's annoying!

I would normally just delete the taskbar shortcut and then make another, but when I try to do that it says 'are you sure you want to send Windows Explorer to the recycle bin' and not the usual thing about deleting shortcuts etc...

So my question is... Why is my computer so annoying?? Also, if I get rid of that shortcut, will it really be deleting the whole program?

Ta!

It's lying through it's teeth. If deleting IE were that simple the world would applaud.

Your computer is so annoying because you refused to read the manuals.

you can't right click on it, go to properties, click on 'find target', go to that folder and then click on the program...

Have you tried hitting it really hard and calling it a bastard machine?

I find it helps.

Good luck.

Or maybe my computer's annoying too?

My theory is that people sometimes think I'm annoying and really it's just my keyboard playing up.

I actually did do just that, but it just sat there looking smug and ever so slightly disdainful
