All's well, bags were packed, teeth brushed, hair combed, (well not for Brett, he likes the unbrushed look, apparently it's trendy, he looks like Ringo Starr in the early days. ) I was really hoping during the interview with the principle that there'd be some kind of hair rule, you know, cut above the collar etc/ But sadly no, the principle told Brett that his hair looked great:-2

I've just watched the school bus pass our house. So that's it now he's off He's now a high school kid.

I realise i sound soppy and all but it kinda hurts watching them grow up and apart from me. They are so independent now. :( I still bake cakes for them and get their lunches ready but they usually do it themselves now . (although there is the spot checks to make sure they have included fruit.)

I was looking threough the photos of when Brett started school here and forgot he began with a broken arm:wah: he was so small then the smallest in the school preps now he's almost 13 and 5'7:-2

then

Now.

SIGH................................

awwwwwwwwwww he has grown....so handsome too

So does anyone else feel like they are losing touch with their kids as they grow? I mean I'm awfully lucky in that none of them mind hugging me in public and they will all kiss me goodnight still but IDK .........maybe it's a temperary mum kind of thing .

He's a handsome chappy fuzzy! It's scary where the time goes.

My boys ten in the summer, luckily for me he won't be moving up to secondary this year, I have that joy to come next year but I have to start checking out the schools in our area now :( don't want to, want to keep him in primary where everyone accepts him and helps him.

What I can remember from the picture I saw of you a while back, Brett seems to favor your looks quite a bit. :)

To me, he's at the beginning of being a little heartbreaker! :D

Just waite, soon the phone will be ringing off the hook for him. :lips:
