children of the world.

We had two children from Belarus stay with us last year, neither spoke very much English. It was lovely watching them have fun with my daughter, playing on the trampoline, messing about in the garden. They really enjoyed playing with my grandson who was just two then, he loved them too and talked about them for quite a while after they left.

It's wonderful to watch the kids together, nationality is no barrier to the common language of play.

the more UNbritish the child is the more my girls want to play with them, no matter where we go on holiday they always bring back foreign children to our caravan/cottage etc...To them theirs no difference, they can still play and they always seem to know what the other wants but I reckon thats down to the clever foreigners as they always take the time out to try and speak English, thats where were lacking.

Iv'e never had any problems with communicating with foreigners either :sneaky:
