I can't decide what to get her.

Don't get her anything. As I tell my wife I she hasn't worked out who my valentine is by now I don't see why I should spend money on someone that stupid.

On the other hand telling her I forget her birthday because I haven't noticed the passage of time is not successful. Nor is blaming her mother for not reminding me.

Comments like why remember wedding anniversaries when it's like you're celebrating misery are not nearly as funny when you say them put loud.

I dont EXPECT anything for valentines, infact ive started telling hubby not to bother, all hype to get us spending more. Hubby tells me he loves me everyday and proves it in all different ways:-4 Dont need one special day........Infact the nicest thing we can give it each other is respect which again is done daily....He would never call me stupid:-5 well not to my face anyhow :wah::wah:

your so wrong.........No It was MY decision to stop the farce of buying on valentines, like I said we do nice things for each other all the time, we dont need someone to tell us to do it on A day of the year.:-6

As for St Valentine's Day - forget the commercial schmaltz. This is jazz festival time. Or at very least the occasion to celebrate a good gangsta massacree.
