Hi I can't find the other thread so will start a new,

a few people have asked me about the meet we are having.

I know we did say next weekend/ last weekend in January,

and i think we posponed it, did we come up with another date?

and who would still be up for it.

I think it would be either Birmingham or London,

I am not sure how easy it would be for people to get to them but they seem central.

I have been to a couple of meets from a different site. What usually happens is someone will decide to hold a meet, put up a thread saying the date, the venue and can people add names to the list who is coming. I think asking all the time where is best to have it, when is best to have it etc. you are always gonna leave someone out or its not gonna be viable for some people and its gonna be great for others. If somone wants to host a meet then just put up a date and a venue and see who can attend.

Righr how about an Essex meet.....there is a complex in Basildon that has a Travelodge and you can get great deals online for it.......great chinese about 60 dishes eat as much as you like.......and an Indian opposite the same.....Karioke pubs....easy parking........and the best attraction of all.....................me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OK DONT THEN!!!:rolleyes:

Ok i was thinking last night about the best month and September came up in my mind,

I think this would a great place to have it too if its next to London,

soo we have the place and the month,

how about something like the weekend around about the 13th/17th?

The meet will be on the 12th to the 14th/15th september depending on how long people want, if we plan it for the whole weekend and then if people want to stay, 1 or 2 nights or go just come for the day.

I'd love a schedule where I actually KNOW for fairly sure where I'm going to be say, next week, let alone next month. I'm just not able to plan much ahead these days, especially. But, I'll try my best to be there, whenever you decide. The September dates sound good. I'm very sorry I can't be more helpful. But please count me in as an optional extra. I'll make independent - last minute type - arrangements for accommodation etc. On-The-Road-Pam

Sometimes just two friends meeting for a pint/cocktail/coffee/lunch/yack/walk in the park is pretty good too. And that could happen whether or not the Gang ever gets together en masse. :sneaky:

Hi Guys.....Sorry but this is just not working out and these things have to be planned so let this thread carry on but The Foc Guys and anyone who wishes to join us will have their own meet.We will have a vote on there regarding dates that will suit most.Good luck to this one and I sincerely hope it goes ahead but if it dosent remember you will be more than welcome on ours.
