OMG Bob Geldof is back at it again with live aid. But what is more amazing, he succeeded in getting Pink Floyd to unite again to play Holy cow they have not played together since 1981 and if my history serves me right they parted on very unfriendly terms.

Wahooo that would be something to see Pink Floyd.

Rumor has it the live aid tour may come to Toronto, I live 4 hours (flight time) from there, anyone want to donate money so I can get there for the concert ahahahahahahahahaha hohohohohoho hehehehehehe

oh gawd I am crazy about them too, live aid is starting in london I wish I could afford the trek.

My youngest daughter is fanatical about them too and has renewed my interest, we bought the DVD the wall and she knows it by heart ahahaha amazing huh. I remember it's release and saw it projected on a pseudo imax screen here, at our science center, I thought it was cool back then.

Yep can't believe they are re-united amazing huh. Lets start a "send BR and Minks to toronto" fund ahahahahaha Or better yet to London

Pink Floyd Reunion tour! I'd sell my playstation to go!

and yeah, Roger Waters (The Wall) and David Gilmore (Dark Side of the Moon) were mad at each other at last report. And truthfully, they stopped making their best music after "The Division Bell".

What they need to do is go back to basics and come out with another "Dark Side" style CD.

If you want to call yourself a true Pink Floyd fan, pick up David Gilmore's first solo album, "David Gilmore" It's the true sequel to Dark Side of the Moon and I think it's just as good!

Where's Arnold Layne? He'll want to know about this! :D

and I heard they hit ebay for a cool 1.8 million for tickets and Geldof blew a fit. I am not real clear on details.

Yeah I heard about the text mesasge lottery style to get tickets ... crazy.

Yep Jives you bet go back to basics and do the dark side of the moon style work again. And for the tour the whole band is going to be there. Amazing huh, makes you wonder what is in store for the future for them, lets keep our fingers crossed.

When Sir Bob of Geldof found out he hit the roof that people could be so heartless, and demanded e-bay not to let tkts go for auction.

I'm not too sure but i think e-bay have now pulled the lots, i'll go see......

got it, thanks for that info. I am so thrilled to see these old bands coming together again and regaining popularity.

Eagles

U2

Aerosmith

Pink Floyd

Not all split and came back, but it's nice to see them be re-generated. I love it.
