It's a young male isn't it? Doesn't the bit above the beak go blue on males, and stay brownie beige on females? It's been a long time since I had a Budgie!

Love him Mag...good luck with him. He reminds me of my pet parakeet that we had as children. We called him Turkey because he was a turquoise color....Still miss his antics.

Here's what Turkey looked like..

He's a 'sky blue spangle'

Ok! That was my Budgie knowledge all used up, LOL!

Tell the old bloke I'm going to the RAF museum tomorrow, I'll stick some pics up. (Not the one he went to, t'other one)

I used to have a couple of those. All they seemed to like to do was throw food around!:wah:
Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about!

Nice birds Mags & Kathy,

I have a grey & white cockateal in a cage/room;) its big enough ,near our front door.

He sings, talks, whistles & lets me know when we get visitors.

He whistles Joey's Song, now I am teaching him La Bamba.

Great company,very messy,very funny.:-4:-6

We have three parakeets in a large cage just behind me. I just fed and watered them. One is yellow, one is turquiose, and one is blue. They can get noisy and messy.............but they are cute little fellows.

We have one of those nesting tubes in there...so they can have some privacy.;)
