I must admit that I was really surprised to hear this, and how well they had covered up the story, and like GMC I'm not the biggest fan of the royals, but this has changed my mind about him a little, and it's good to see.

While the mom in me isn't crazy about him being in harms way, if he could possibly have avoided it.... I think he's pretty remarkable in his obviously sincere desire to be 'one of the guys'.

Well known folks give lip service to the notion of being a regular folks kinda person, but this kid is really giving it all he's got to get as close to that reality as possible.

Last time we executes a king we ended up with a military dictatorship run by christian fundamentalists and the results were so appalling a king coming back seemed actually like an improvement at the time. So long as they behave themselves we let them stay cos they're good for the tourist industry.

I think you mean henry the eigth. George the third was the one that went mad and lost the colonies or was it lost the colonies and went mad. there's only been one queen victoria, the one in Eastenders is a pub.
