Happy leap day!!

Is today actually a day or is it a fake day? Should I have to pay my employees for a day that only shows up every four years? Come tomorrow will this day show up as being a real day or will it be erased from our memories? Or is this a US goverment conspiracy and it is actually ground hogs day? Help me I am confused..

I heard that some companies give their employees Leap Day off.......NHS dont lol:wah::wah::wah:

My youngest came home upset cos nobody asked her to marry them....had to re-remind her she was suppose to do the asking lol:...shes only 8:-4

It's my neighbour Elsie's 80th birthday today, I bought her a Happy 20th birthday card.

It is kind of weird having the 29th every 4 years, Its the 1st March here today so yesterday has come and gone until another 4 years

Yep. Long ago my older sister told me that on Leap Year the girls must propose to the guy they love. Never happened to me.

I just read that back in the time of Julius Ceasar, they figured out that it takes 365 days and 6 hours for the Earth to cirle the Sun so they just added one day eash four years. Works out nicely.

I surprized our senators haven't made it a legal holiday, no mail, no banking, no stock market. Give them time it will come up. Haven't done any leaping to day, did have to jump over some big mud holes tho. Illinois is mudddiey right now. :-6:-6
