The Tarot Cards.. what do you think?

What do you think of the Tarot Cards? have you had your cards read? I was trying to learn to read Tarot cards a while back, just by buying some cards and a couple of books, i was doing pretty well but as is me, i got bored and distracted :wah: i have had tarot readings and to be honest my logical brain says ,, what a load of rubbish!! but.... i have had a very good reading one time many years ago and it was using normal playing cards! the woman was quite old and sadly now dead, but oh my god she was amazing! i have to add she only did it for freinds and family and never asked for money and always refused money. but through the years so many things she said were right ,,, and also she wasnt vague either like some are ,, she was very specific and detailed. On reading the books and trying to learn them myself i cant believe she knew all this from cards. as i say i try to tell myself they cant tell the future past etc. but i also always like to look at both sides of the story,, ( must be the Gemini in me:wah:) So has anyone out there got any good stories of fortune tellers ( tarot cards in particular) or do you think its a load of old codswallop:wah::D Im gonna try learning the Tarot again soon probs when the caravan season starts and i have loads of spare time on my hands.

I dont believe in tarot cards but I went to a physic and he was spot on. Knew all about my past and told me what was going to happen in the next few years which came true. It was really eerie. While he was talking to me the room went really cold.

ooo spooky kay:-3 was he really specific though cos some can pretty much generalise things that can cover all kinds,, then we interpret them to mean what we want:o

Well he told me I was married and had 3 children 2 girls and a boy and that with the boy that he nearly died at birth and some other really personal things he couldnt possibly know. I nearly fell off my chair. Also I didnt say a word to him until after the reading.

He also said I would get remarried and have another son. My marriage was ok at the time so I thought he was totally wrong there, buttttttttttttt I did get married again and did have another son.

wow! it makes you wonder how they do it dunnit:-3 but i think there are still a lot of phoneys out there

wow Kay sounds like he was... that womwan i mentioned was the same,, although she used cards ,,, the cards couldnt possibly tell the details she gave

I'm not sure what I think about Tarot card reading Kaz, but I do think it's really cool...... But, then again I listen to a radio show called "Coast to Coast" which is a show about the paranormal....and it is also very cool:-4

I havent had any experience of tarot cards myself Kaz....Nor have I had my fortune told...

Really Chez? you should try it once,, if only for a bit of fun:D i found it weird how cards could get things right

but you have to be lucky to find a good genuine reader.

You wouldn't believe some of the stories I hear......it's a fabulous show. Some nights you can only call the radio show if you're a werewolf or angel or have been abducted by aliens....AND, the callers are way serious:wah:

I used to got to a fortune teller.

She lived miles from me so didn't have any history & I told her nothing.

She would take a piece of jewellery that I would be wearing & just hold it while she spoke to me.

I decided to stop as to many things she told me,came true.

Some have just come true as I kept her tapes that she made & play them every now & then.

She was very good at what she did,I explained to her why I wasn't coming back & she understood.:-6

thats what i mean MrsK, its weird, my logic tells me dont be daft they cant know, then you find or hear of someone like that, and wonder:-3:D
