I hike all over our property now, Im still cheking it out, mapping, doing some testing and drawings and stuff. Sometimes I toss her on my shoulders at the top of my ruck and she stays right there for hours, but if she gets an animal to track she'll jump off and try to go after it.

I did finally get her to leave the quail alone though, but the ducks! Nasty things, she can kill all she wants.what's so bad about ducks!!!

I have a book in my home, that when something is broken my kids and wife write that it needs to be fixed in the book.

(don't laugh at me this is a very functional operation!)

I've noticed over the years that some items need regular maintenance... vacuum cleaners, toaster, refridgerators, etc. and I schedule it by monthly notation so it gets done regualry. It saves money and the equipment lasts much longer.

Last week in very large bold letters (out of the lines which annoys me) is "VACUUM CLEANER NOT SUCKING"... To which I asked while examining my list of to dos, 'Does the bag need changing?' And in return I got a dumb look...

Tonight I did note that it needed its regular maintenance, clean all the filters, change the bag, change the belt, take it all apart, clean every part, remove all dirt that accumulates, reassemble etc.

I was half way into tearing it apart, had the plastic parts soaking in detergent and was about to open the motor houseing when I heard a vacuum cleaner turn on in the house, a new one, not the hardfloor one... :-3

Ladies, if your gonna ask us to fix it, dont go buy a new one.:lips:

Dear Lord, please give me the confidence to believe that my darling husband is not going to balls up again! Leaving me stranded with this appliance in bits. And please give me the strength to not rush out and buy a replacement, as I know eventually I will have to do. Give me the strength to wait until he admits that he is cr4p at fixing things :D

My washing machine died tonight. I'm not going to ask him to fix it. I'm going to go buy a new one tomorrow and telling him I did it because Jester told me to. :sneaky: :wah:

Well, I guess I don't ever have to worry about the vacuum cleaner ever again, have wooden floors throughout the house except my daughter's room, so she uses it. The thing weighs about 25 lbs and is dreadful to push around the room. You could always come over and fix my oven which won't do the "self cleaning" thing anymore:(:wah:
