Oh, Yeah!(my best Kool-Aid) I have been chomping at the Bit to see this! Ever since I heard they scrapped Schumacher from producing any more Batman films. that fourth one was AWFUL!!
The way the rumor mill is working, sounds like if this does as good as the BUZZ is, we have a new Batman franchise. They will forget the Fourth one ever happened, and briefly reference the others.

Yeah, but Ebert thinks Woody Allen is to comedy what Goddard is to the rocket.
I am a great big nerd and am going to see Batman. Never did put any stock in what Ebert says.

I presented that more as an interesting aside. I don't always go by
the critics, any of them. And my days of rushing out to see a first-run
movie are in the past, for the most part.
For many years when I worked in the movie biz, I had the great good
fortune of seeing many first-runs in a primo theater with others in the
movie business, too. That made it very pleasant. Going to a regular
theater with all the talkers I invariably sit next to is not much fun.
I'll wait and rent it at home, or more likely skip it entirely, I don't
much go for those kind of movies.

OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!! it is Freaking Awesome!! This is the Batman movie all comic books geeks everywhere have been waiting for. they are NOT kidding that is is PG-13. It is pert near R. Very dark. Very violent, and not in the campy/goofy way the last few have been.
This is the first movie in a LONG time that totally lives up to the Hype.
Christian Bale is the new face of Batman, and he is more than capable to carry the "Mantle of the Bat"
It was great. I didn't know that Rutger Hauer was in it, did you??
Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox(long time Wayne family friend) was wonderful.
Michael Cane as "Alfred" was fantastic!!!
Even all his "wonderful toys" are explained better.
Unlike previous movies where Bats has this bad-a$$ car and the cops are using left overs from "CHIPs" this one is Goooooood.
GO SEE IT!!
