Trunk Monkey Here!

Post by Trunk Monkey »

Hello to all! I am from what people call the "North Country" way upstate NY. I just moved here a year ago from NJ and even though I miss NJ, there was no way I could have afforded in NJ to live in a new home on 13 acres in the woods. I own and operate (from home) 3 pet sitting/dog walking business in NY, NJ, and CT. I am an animal lover and have rescued so far 2 abused pets (Kooka and Miss Piggy) and have posted their pics for all who want to see them in the pet forum. I also have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I am a part-time Animal Control Officer in the town where I live.

I didn't intend to write a book here but I wanted all of you to know that all the members here are very nice and welcomed me with open arms. My friends call me by my name which is PJ and hope you will too.

Hi PJ,

I've said hello to you before when I saw you beautiful parrot. Welcome to the garden and hope you have a lovely stay here. Yes, it is too expensive living in NJ...taxes and insurances are outrageous.

Old is a state of mind Carol:-4

Did you ever see the "Twilight Zone: The Movie?" You can rent it. It comprised of 3 or 4 classic events. One story told of "senior citizens offered magical rejuvenation. They all had the option of remaining a youngster or going back to their older age. Only one decided to stay young. I loved the part when the storyteller kept telling the seniors that they just had to keep saying to themselves that they just had to keep whispering to themselves that they had....
