Happy St Patrick's Day in advance

Post by Galbally »

Hello all, as you probably know, its St Patrick's day tomorrow, but in Ireland we are kinda celebrating it today as tomorrow is the start of Holy Week and we are all a bunch of Catholics, so if you are of Irish descent and celebrating them "la feile la padraig" and if you are just joining in for an excuse to get pissed then on ye go and have a good time. :yh_shamrk:yh_shamrk:yh_shamrk

And my best wishes of the occasion to you too.

Did I just hear the Garda have arrested a significant fraction of the BBC's current affairs staff? That might be to keep them from mischief while the rest of you celebrate.

Yeah, I heard about that one alright, hmmn, that'll teach Newsnight to be sneaking around in Donegal at all hours of the morning. :wah:

Yeah, its because of the dodgy advice column I used to write for them, I try to tell them that I haven't earned my PhD yet, but they wont listen, still it sounds cool, it makes me sound like some kinda drug-dealing, motorbike ridin musical renegade from somewhere like Louisiana, not an eegit from Ireland. :wah:
