Bathers vs Underware

Geeze Mags,

I'm a block away from the beach and when the Bennies come to the shore they park their car in front of your house and just strip under a towel that naturally never stays on. So, they're all naked for all to see and they don't care:wah:

Well living in a beach town in San Diego this is common 10 miles from the coast or even more. Did she have flip flops on thats the only requirement to enter stores here must have your shoes on. :wah::wah:

Its totally unacceptable to be anywhere in public,,,(And Im saying that being bi-sexual) scantilly clad..like... keep that to yourself! Theres a time & place.

I like to laugh at over confident people who think it OK.

It's a strange perception, isn't it. A person wears the same clothes (or lack thereof) in two separate locations. On the beach it's ok, in the 'burbs, it's not. I don't think there is a logical answer to why it seems this way, but I tend to agree - there is a time and a place. it doesn't take much to at least put on a pair or shorts or a sarong, which would have probably made it somewhat more acceptable.

Mind you, I'm sure there weren't too many complaints from the guys!

Hehehe now that is some story. If we had more girls doing that here, then I'd have to start going to the shops more often hahaha. :p

As to your question, I do think that it's somewhat inappropriate for someone not to change from beachwear to something more decent if they are heading away from the sea, but in the end I suppose if fellow shoppers aren't offended then people that do this will continue to do so until someone makes a point of it.

For me it's beach wear for the beach and I'll put shorts (and usually a top) on even if fetching a drink from a beachside bar.

But then, I've not the shape to carry it off with aplomb - it sounds as though the lady in question had :)
