Lifes' like that sometimes
[QUOTE=fuzzy butt;80670
It's got me thinking how there is so much stress and pain in the world.
sometimes you'll be going through a stressful phase where you just don't want to get up in the morning and then you hear of someone elses troubles and all of the sudden you'rs doesnt' seem so bad anymore.
I suppose we gage our own pain by comparing it to others at any particular time.[/QUOTE]
Truer words were never said Mags:-4. I'm a big time worrier...In fact, just chill because I'll worry for you free of charge:wah:
I cannot even begin to tell you how bad my psoriasis is right now due to stress. I'm a mess:-1. Then when I read about other people's pain, I realize what a dope I am.....or what a lucky girl I am. I have my family and health, good friends and a great job. I think that we need to put things into perspective, work harder on destressing and try to help those around us who are in more pain then we are.
I'm working on this issue and have become a better listener and trying not to be a moaner. This also helps with my school kids....everytime they stress, whine, show anger or are just plain crabby with stress.....the other kids and I throw them a stress ball and bubble wrap. Then can then sqeeze the h*ll out of the stress ball and pop the bubble wrap to their heart's content. We all end up laughing our hearts out, and the stressed child ends up feeling so much better.
Good on you mags for helping people not to commit sucide due to stress. We had one of our beach buddies hang himself from a tree in his backyard three weeks ago. We watched him being taken down from the tree. We are all in such distress right now. So many people feel that we should have done something to help him. Most of his friends did not know he was in such pain. He was in a good relationship and seemed so happy. It seemed like he had the world in his hands....and he did...he ended it and left us all so distraught over his suicide.
Sorry, I better stop rambling....I'm getting so stressed:wah:
Seriously Mags, thanks for your thoughts about suicide...wish you were there for our friend:-6

I understand completely what you are saying Fuzzy and Kathy!
Even with what I'm going through right now, I have so much to be thankful for and know that there are people out there much worse off than me....
I am so sorry to hear about the people that take their own lives....I have thought about it, but there is no way I could go through with it.
